On the twenty-fourth of April in the year two-thousand and nine, Bennett and Jenna Larsen skipped across a stage positioned in the Marriott Center and accepted degrees for their incredible contribution to the learning environment at Brigham Young University. Bennett has become quite the scholar regarding Nutritional Sciences and I have become skilled in the art analyzing people through Psychology. Congratulations, you geniuses.....

Hehehehe :) It was really a fun weekend and we are so grateful to our family and friends that were able to attend. Both mine and Bennett's parents made the trip out to Utah for the celebration. My sister, Katie, also flew in to surprise us!! We had a delicious dinner at Sakura's after the ceremony, and then quickly packed up the U-Haul early Saturday morning for Bennett to drive with his Mom, Dad, and brother Reece back to Texas with all our goods. I opted to stay in Provo and had a nice time going to the spa and getting a facial with my sister :) Bennett is now taking a mental break for the summer and gearing up for the next 4 years of dental school! Bennett flew back into Utah a few days later and we packed up our car for a little road trip to Washington.
We first stopped at Kimball and Marianne's in Kennewick for a few days of partying. Bennett went to work with Kimball (also a dentist) and I got to have some girl time with Marianne and the kids. We had a BLAST hanging out with their family and even got to enjoy a graduation party (complete with decor) and an adult night out to PF Changs! Thanks so much Larsen fam!!
Next we drove a few hours and landed in Spokane to hang out with Katie, Rob, and the girlies. Our friends Jimmy and Mallory also went up to hang out for the weekend (Jimmy and Rob are bro's). We had so much fun being with everyone. On Saturday May 2nd, Kate, Mal and I had a girls afternoon out to celebrate Katie's birthday at the movies and Olive Garden! Since I served my mission in Spokane, I also got to visit some of my friends I made while I was there :)
Sadly, our fun had to end at some point and we had to drive to our new home in Texas.....what a LONG and HOT 3 day drive we endured. Somewhere in New Mexico on the 2nd day our air conditioning gave out and we melted for the rest of the trip - BOOOOOOOOOOO is all I have to say. Pregnant people do not like being hot. Or cramped in cars. Alas, this torturous journey ended and we are now in TEXAS!!!!! It is nice to finally be here :)
