And Baby Makes 4...

Yes our little Avarie Shirlene is going to be a big sister :) We were very surprised yet excited to find out we were expecting again. I am officially 10 weeks along (as of today) and smack dab in the middle of feeling yuck. I'm hoping the misery won't last all 9 months like it did with Avarie, so everyone keep your fingers crossed! She keeps me busy so I don't have to dwell on it all day, which is very helpful. This new little one is tentatively due Nov. 25th, so our kids will be 13 months apart. I think Avarie and her future sibling made a pact in heaven that they would only be separated for a short while, then gave each other a high five or did a friends secret handshake just before Avarie was sent down to earth. They are destined to be total BFF's.

6 Months...

Avarie is officially 1/2 a year old! Woohoo! She was quite the trooper with her shots and only cried for a minute. It helped that Bennett could be there to make her better :) Here are some of her statistics...

Length: 25 3/4 inches (50th)
Weight: 15 lbs. 14 oz (50th)

If you are keeping tabs on this girly (probably just me) you will notice she is decreasing in standings. Thank goodness - I hoped she wasn't going to continue her rapid growth! She is slowly decreasing in the charts to where her dad and I are located ;) Here are some fun facts about our Tootle Bug -

*Eating a very healthy portion of rice cereal and veggie baby foods. She would seriously eat all day if we let her...she is doomed to love food since both Bennett and I are food connoisseurs.
*Sitting up on her own for about 10 to 20 seconds before face planting into the carpet.
*Loves laughing and giggling with her dad.
*Patiently sits still while mom squeezes her juicy thighs.
*Rolls all over the room, and quickly.
*OBSESSED with Baby Einstein. She could be having the biggest fit, but the second she hears Bach or Mozart, that girl is silent. She often laughs at and talks to the images shown on the video.
*Sleeps from 7 pm to 7 am. She has been sleeping through the night since about 2 months, and we feel VERY blessed!
*Loves her dolly. It is a night time must to be holding dolly.
*Last of all, Avarie is a snuggle. She will sit and cuddle until your heart melts :)

Hippity Hoppity Easter's on its' Way....

For this past Easter/Conference weekend, we took a trip up to Sherman to spend it with some of Bennett's family. Bryce, Katie and their kids were in town, as well as a special visit from Avarie's Great-Grandpa Packard.

In between Conference sessions we were able to dye some Easter eggs and enjoy a fun weekend of chatting, food and games.

Avarie enjoyed watching the big boys play MarioKart Wii :)

This is Avarie's newest Larsen cousin, Dean. Since he has 2 big sisters that LOVE dress up and girly things, I decided to make him a dress up of his own, a superhero cape. Now he won't have to put up with sisters that dress him in princess attire. However, my little brother had capes and my sister and I STILL made him look like a girl sometimes :) He is a cutie!
